AnMed Health has been serving the Anderson community for close to100 years. Anderson Area Medical Center, South Carolina. Anderson Area Medical Center is the oldest and largest of the four hospitals that make up the AnMed Health system. Originally opened in 1908 with just 25 beds, Anderson Area Medical Center has grown into one of the largest and most modern medical centers in the state.
